Lower Jackson Band

A definitive take on soulful blues/ gospel/ southern rock born of unique backgrounds blooms one of our area’s most formative jam bands. Led by the mesmerizing vocals of Mama Kush and bookended by two lead guitars one finger style and one slide guitar, Lower Jackson produces a force that is felt more than heard. With a library of original tunes and unique covers, and a warm/ friendly stage manner, the band carves out a niche that is like no other. Lower Jackson, in very much the spirit of Tedeschi-Trucks majestically takes the audience on a ride of emotions while holding their hand the whole way. A powerful show, indeed.
