Murder Mystery Dinner

It is 1968, just a year after the Summer of Love. The conflict in Vietnam is still raging, psychedelic drugs are everywhere, and bathing is optional. It is truly a righteous time on the scene.

Welcome to Unity Acres, the grooviest hippy commune in universe man. Founded by Ethan Frome, who now goes by the sole moniker of “Enliman,” as a place of mind opening enlightenment, free love and equality. Tonight, Unity Acres is welcoming it’s newest members and providing them an orientation to life at the commune. This orientation and initiation ceremony known as “Peace, Love and Munchies” is a dinner to teach the enlightened ways of the commune and clear new members’ minds of “the veil of materiality and self delusion that screens us all from the true reality of oneness,” their Maya.

​Through a series of hip exercises meant to reprogram the mind, along with a healthy dose of “herbal remedies” including smoking dried rose pedals and of course dinner new recruits turn away from their square ways and come to understand that their lives outside the commune have been nothing but selling out to the man.

​However, on this transcendental evening, peace and love may not really be on the menu as one member of the commune meets an untimely death.

Your ticket puts you in the middle of the action as this immersive mystery experiences happens all around you. You will meet the suspects, you will question each of them and you will determine whodunnit as you enjoy an amazing dinner at Blues & Brews Bistro in beautiful Ormond Beach!

Three course dinner includes your choice of entrée, salad and dessert. Nonalcoholic beverages AND gratuity also included. Full bar available.

“Dixie” Chicken Saltimbocca

Thinly pounded Chicken breast sauteed with white wine, topped with prosciutto & served with buttered broccoli & roasted red potatoes.

“Ripple” Veggie Risotto

Slow cooked risotto, simmered in a vegetarian stock with parmesan cheese, Mushrooms & Peas

Groups are asked to please purchase tickets as one group if they wish to be seated together. We can not guarantee that smaller groups will be sat together if not purchased as one larger group.

As YOU are being transported back to 1968 for the evening we encourage you to dress in your tie dye and hippy garb and really get into the evening.
